Agreed HUSID80 - sloppy first 5 minutes, but after that we played well. Green did what he is best at - controlled the tempo and dished the ball, he really looked good today. Moussa was excellent - probably his best game this year. Good spark from Rokas - he played well. Good team effort playing with intensity on defense. It was great to see.

On to W&M!

Game went just as I had hoped. 40 minutes of effort on D. When we do that, we can beat anyone in the CAA. W&M should be worried. I just purchased tix for the semi-finals. I'll be driving down the turnpike in the AM. Roll Pride!!!

Hofstra had their worst free throw percentage in a game (.417) since they shot free throws .375 in a 44-39 win hosting Manhattan on December 9, 2009.

That can be corrected overnight and is one tiny (not even worth mentioning) blemish onn awesome game.

A season defining game . Great defense. Fantastic effort. Great coaching.

While simultaneously breaking the absolute back of JMU.

Wonderful stuff. Phenomenal game.

Glad I went.

team played with a fire in their belly and especially kone. Guards got the ball to Kone and gustys and they took advantage of what JMU gave them. They didnt force anything. Good job of turning up the D a few notches. Now lets keep it up against W&M.

Great game we played our best both offense and defense. If we play like this and we have to we will win the next two.

As an aside were these the worst announces ever? Sounded like the worked for JMU-they missed calls and worst of all said we were in our Yellow uniforms.

I think the biggest thing for Hofstra will be making some of the real easy baskets that they missed today. There were a dozen easy layups or dunks that they missed. Some they were able to get the offensive glass and put it back in, but against better teams on a different day, that might not be the case. And this isn't the first game they've had this issue.

Was able to watch most of the game, way to go fellas, VERY important win for the season! Very proud of their effort, and of course Kone stepping up BIG - that's what you need from seniors

Agree there were a lot of easy points left out there, would love to see them clean that up these next games - and the announcers were def bad, completely pro JMU - they did give Kone props (how could you not) but most everything was poor JMU, shame for them, bad day, blah blah - should've been more about how well HU played as a whole- that's why JMU lost - HU played a very strong D game and did well enough on O to win

Bernardi looked REALLY off this game, hoping to see him have much better games here - can be an X factor

Green played great as he always does when he focuses on creating and dishing

Gustys very solid spark

Stay lose, stay aggressive, and have fun - this is how you win - let's take it to #1 today boys!!! #ROLLPRIDE

Sitting opposite the Hofstra bench, between the circles, watching W&M warm up. Can't wait for the start!
