Hope JWF and family are ok-- must be something very serious...

Obviously family first and foremost but what a total shocker. We all are behind Justin for whatever situation he's going thru.

Wonder what the deal is. Hope all is well with JWF.

I hope he can stick with the Jazz. At least get a contract out of it.

Jazz signed their 2nd round pick Miye Oni to a 1 way deal today. I hope we hear JWF signing a contract soon.

Oni gets the last roster spot. JWF and Brantley can only sign 2 way deals with the Jazz now, barring any other moves.

They disagreed with the Salt Lake Tribune who thought Brantley was better than Oni. How many 1-way and 2-way contracts can a team give?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Two-way_contract says teams get 15 1-way and 2 2-way contracts, but that 2-way contracts are only for undrafted free agents. Before the draft, how many players did Utah have signed for 2019-2020 from continuing contracts?

Is there a deadline for when a team must decide what contract they're giving drafted players? Are teams allowed to release drafted players without paying them to make them free agents before the season starts?
