Today we go on the road and play Hampton
We were without our best outside hitter, and both of our mid blockers did not see any action
Coach Mansur went to the bench and played a couple of freshman and a sophomore
After the first set, which we won 25-18
We started off slow in the second set and we're trailing8-3
Emily then flipped the switch and rattle off a 25-16 win in the second set
From there, we dominated the third set with a 25-8 win
Another 3-0 set win
Now stand12-2 and 5-2 in conference

We blow out Hampton once again in three straight sets by scores of 25-11,25-15 and 25-13. Hampton is 1-17 and 0-8 this season. Like some of their other sports Hampton just cannot compete in this conference. At the present time they don't belong in the CAA. The only plus in this game is that players that normally don't get much playing time see the court.

Basically half the A team and half the B team

Set scores were 30-28 25-13 and 25-16

Very workmen like victory over a decent Stonybrook team

We sweep Stony Brook again scores were 25-18,25-21 and 25-23. We're now 15-2 overall and 8-2 in the conference. Love beating S.B. in anything and everything!

Jojo Emilys husband is from Germany
He has connections to that part of Europe
Add in the fact that Emily is Portuguese
And we get quite a few players from Brazil

I said at the beginning of the year this might be Emily's best team at Hofstra
Except for that hiccup losing 2 five set matches at Charleston and this could be a team that would be17-0 instead if 15-2

We now go on a 12 break then go play NCA&T on the road

That is an 8 match winning streak all sweeps
We sit at 17-2 and 9-2 in conference

We finally break the hundred mark

Afterfalling behind two sets to one against Towson university we start the fourth set fall behind 12-6 then21-16
We eventually tie it up at 25 apiece
We go into overtime and win it' 30 to 28
Fifth set we trail 11 to 10 then we score five straight points to win the fifth set and the match15-11
Gutsy win for this team
Now stand in a tie for first place in the CAA11-2 and overall with a record of19-2

Yes Stu a really HUGE win on a day that we don't play very well according to Emily in her post presser. Hopefully today we bring our A game and sweep Towson.
