So he hasn't played for any U.S. college before? Very unusual signing.

Do you remember point guard Brad Kelleher from Australia? He spent two seasons here, but the NCAA suspended him for one season plus eight games. He played 25 games in 2010-2011, and averaged 7.5 points and 3.3 assists.

Yup. Wasn't a bad player when he got on the court.

I remember he was deemed ineligible because he got per diem money (meal money basically) in Australia (he is Australian) and got punished by the great Oz the NCAA. At the same time a high profile college player did something similar but more extensive but basically sat out 2 non conference games or something much less onerous.
That organization really enjoyed hammering the little guys and kissing up to the stars. The NIL was a good karma lesson for these masters of the double standards.

That high profile player I believe was Cook who I believe went to UConn
Cook I believe was given $75,000 from an agent which he later returned
But only after getting caught
I believe that Kelleher just signed a contract with no monetary compensation
They supplied transportation and meals only
I remember coach Peccora losing it and for good reason

Tom Pecora went nuts when the NCAA declared Brad ineligible. He threw the NCAA under the bus said they let P5 teams get away with murder and punish kids like this for meaningless rule infractions. Sounds about right the NCAA is a joke.

Victory has not been added to the official roster. I read somewhere that his pro team in Spain is challenging his departure....anybody besides me worried????

Roberts not on the official roster either. Both are shown as committed on Verbal Commits. Yes, this is a concern and we should expect no assistance from the NCAA, the CAA, or information from Hofstra either.

I like that info. the fact they are not showing on the roster probably means nothing because the wheels of progress turn slow with updates on gohofstra. We have seen this time and time again but hope that Victory is a done deal.

Verbal commits lists Amir Williams as a small forward.
There should be a war for playing time at guard.
The 2 freshmen should allow Cruz to cruise at off guard.
The big from Monroe should be jumping at the opportunity to get major minutes with us.
