Season Tickets for 2025-26 Basketball
So the season tickets have just gone on sale for the upcoming year and I renewed today paying $125 a ticket. I finally benefited from my senior status something I've never done. I'm sure there are people on the fence out there but have been following this program since the mid 70's so I couldn't see giving up on them. Lots of prognosticators of doom here and rightfully so but will roll the dice and hope for the best this year!!

Congrats! What section do you sit in? I’m looking to sit closer this year.

So I guess I'll meet some people this year. I have been in 102 for years, the last few in Row F

Yes it’s a wonderful section! Everyone is really nice and the view is fantastic. I’ve been hoping to get seats in the first row as there are always different individuals sitting in them, so I’m assuming they’re general public.

They aren't - Big donor sits there with his kids - also has sky box - I'm in 102 Row B - 13-15. I sit in Row A if he doesn't show and already have dibs on Row A if he cancels. LOL

I think I’ve seen you too then! You and a buddy, wow - feel like I’m meeting all of 102 on this forum. I’ll have to introduce myself next season.

Have we seen a home schedule? Full roster? I guess we're buying season tix on blind faith this year!

Re: Season Tickets for 2025-26 Basketball
For all the years we have been coming to games I don't think it makes sense to have some sort of mutiny now. We know pretty much what we have minus 1 player and we have endured plenty of bad seasons over the years. Maybe not in recent memory so we have to hope for the best and be supportive,no. I don't know about anybody else I would be buying season tickets regardless of what we look like on paper and the game as we know is not played on paper it's played on the court. Just my feelings!!
Re: Season Tickets for 2025-26 Basketball
In case anyone was considering it, not showing up to games/not renewing tickets is not going to get the administration's attention in the way you want, it will just convince them even further not to invest in the program.
I am one of the 101's, on the 102 aisle in row D/E. Moved there in 2010-11.

Cactus: Renewing tickets and showing up at games is likewise not going to get the administration's attention to invest in the program. Sorry, but that's the way I see it because that's the way it is.

Was not suggesting a mutiny of any sort...would be nice to know what games/teams we're going to pay to watch though.triplec2195 wrote: ↑Sat May 31, 2025 1:43 pmFor all the years we have been coming to games I don't think it makes sense to have some sort of mutiny now. Just have to wonder what our OOC schedule will look like? We have played a competitive OOC for quite a few years but with what we have now I would hate to see us in a lot of uneven matchups!

Re: Season Tickets for 2025-26 Basketball
Saw this tweet today and I think it really speaks volumes to the state of the program...
https://x.com/HofstraPride/status/19310 ... SxSPA&s=19
The building seats 5,100. Charleston and UNCW both averaged over 4,600 fans a game. 3,768 is not a real sellout, and its bothered me for a while now that the school treats it that way. Lowering the standards and expectations for attendance is to me just another sign that the school doesn't care enough about its basketball program for it to be successful in the new cbb hellscape we're all stuck with.

its been a slow but continual decline since the Shuart era.
