He didn't yell, he just asked back, "Impressed? What would I be impressed about?" It was actually kind of funny. Can't blame him for that after a loss like they had that day, on top of the other blown leads and losses they already had.

And I don't think he was dodging anyone, I think he was just frustrated.

However, these two comments are extremely contradictory, which just adds to the mystery of team's Jekyll & Hyde nature (albeit, more Hyde than Jekyll) nature this season:

2/8, after the loss to Stony Brook at home (same presser as the "impressed" question):
"I don't know if they even care in that locker room... in practice, games, walk-throughs, I just don't know with these kids."

2/22, exactly two weeks later, after three more losses, and they won at Delaware:
"They deserved this win."

Which is it? It can't be both. How can they lose because they "may not even care" yet "deserve" a win (as if they HAD cared a lot and were working hard, and finally had things go their way that day in Delaware)?

Okay but that’s normal for other schools. Hofstra/Gorchov has posted a postgame press conference for EVERY game (home and away) as long as I can remember (15+ years). I watch all of them. It comes off badly that he’s (probably) refusing to do them now since the team is so bad. I’d really like to hear what he has to say. Especially since they don’t do coaches reports with him.
I wouldn't read too much into it since it was only the last two road games (at Hampton, at Stony Brook) and the postgames (as you said) have otherwise been posted for every game this season, including the one after after the Monmouth home loss, which was the game after the Hampton loss.

The last we heard from him after a loss he yelled at the reporter about the “impressed” question so I feel he’s dodging the media now and that’s a bad look. It’s part of his job to talk after the game. It’s not the end of the world but I get the feeling things are unraveling.
There’s nothing funny about that. I don’t mind him showing emotion but if you’re going to do that you can’t hide after losses going forward which I feel he is doing. Again not the end of the word but seems immature.

Funny in that you have to know when to ask the right question and when. If you see he's clearly frustrated with his team, you should know what to expect when you ask if he's impressed with something. And I wouldn't say only two missed road pressers out of a whole season is "hiding." We don't even know the reason for those two instances, so we shouldn't jump to a conclusion that may not be true.

It’s a little suspicious how the one road game they won lately he was avaliable to do a presser. He had plenty of time for that.

Only if you make it suspicious (with an agenda). Believe whatever you like, but again, we don't know the reasons and it was only two road games.
