Nice to stop the slide, but shame Hampton and Drexel both had upset wins today too. Seems to be nearly no path out of that awful Friday first 4 now. But team did this to themselves

Yeah, they're almost locked into playing on Friday but there is still one path to the 10 seed. Because of losses to Hampton and Drexel in their only meetings with those two, they can't catch either of those in tiebreakers. Northeastern is the only one they could catch with a secondary tiebreaker (after splitting with them this year), but Northeastern would have to lose out. That's possible, since the Huskies could lose at Monmouth and at W&M, and with NC A&T winning three of its last four, maybe the Aggies could steal one in Boston. And entirely possible that Hofstra could win at Stony Brook and vs. NC A&T at home. Not likely, but still very possible to avoid playing on Friday. Well, at least Hofstra no longer has the longest active losing streak in the CAA.
