ok now that is just ridiculous - why in the world is Iona getting a visit and HU isn't???

This is really concerning to me - Iona is a step above hs for goodness sake - what the hell is going on - is this staff working as hard as I'm giving them credit for?? There's absolutely no reason for guys like that to be visiting a small time deal and not give HU a real look, esp when he's interested in a NY school - just no excuse whatsoever.

Polito don't be so quick to draw conclusions. JAM will not take a kid if there ARE any issues. You never know with some kids and Iona has been known to take just about ANYONE.

VCU commit Kenny Williams just re-opened his recruitment following Shaka Smart's departure. He was looking at Hofstra before committing to VCU. He's a shooting guard who gets 4 stars across the board. Curious if JAM and crew get involved again.

Also, possibly even more key is the re-open of Ahmad Gilbert, a 3 star 6'6 SF from Philly - HU was recruiting him early as well - committed to Mason and now open after their coaching change

Iona just used up their last scholarship, so I guess they're not getting Rountree. I expect a lot of news for all schools to start coming in on Wednesday when the late signing period begins.

Alex Kline reports former Hofstra commit Zach Lewis is transferring out of Canisius. Averaged 13 pts/game last season. Would think he'd be on our radar..

JAM stated a few days ago that right now he anticipates the 2 remaining scholarships being used in late spring however in the world of college basketball recruiting nothing is set in stone

Wonder if DeLarosa may consider leaving Red Storm? Mullin already has 2 6-10 commitments plus strong chance to land the 6-9 kid from OSNA...plus good chance that 6-9 kid that was suspended late in season returns for last year...

DeLarosa is potential impact player and he might not see much playing time at St. Johns with guys Mullin is recruiting...does anyone know if Delarosa would have immediate eligibility since he did not suit up once for Red Storm??

Interesting that Hofstra has another offer for a 2015 guard, makes me worried that Alcegaire is going elsewhere and also likely debunks the theory that they've already locked up the two remaining scholarships.
