To Joey Bag Of Donuts1, With respect to your opinion, there are very few times I'd call out a fellow HU poster, but this last one is just not amusing . My Dad and I had many great days at Shuart Stadium and on the road following the HU football program. The memory of the assassination of December 2009 is still very difficult for us. There are many others who feel the same way we do. Some former players, and fans, will never forgive HU and Rabinowitz for the dagger in the heart that occurred. In the future, please do not try to make light of that tragic time that still is so painful many years later. The HU athletic program is just not the same without the football program. I'm very sure there are other posters who feel the same. Also while we're at it, the snarky, flippant "HU football undefeated since 2009" after your posts is also insulting to me, my Dad, former players, and followers of a once very proud and successful program that produced NFL coaches and players.

No disrespect was meant. I was a fan of the football team as well, and traveled to such places as Dayton, OH and Missoula, MT to watch them play. I guess for me humor is a.coping mechanism. I didn't realize it would have a negative impact on others.

All good to me JBOD, I don't think it was intended as it may have come across - I caught the humor I think you meant and took it more as a shot on Rab than HU football. Which he fully deserves. Good riddance to that guy. Got your back on that Shadow!

As much as I have disdain for him, hopefully nothing health related - no ill wishes there. But if it's scandal related, ooooohhhh I'll eat it up.

To Polito and JBOD1, Thanks for the response. I also hope nothing bad health related happened to Rabinowitz and his family. I believe that all HU fans are a family that sometimes see things in a different way. Thanks always for your passion and posts for the HU programs and let's get a banner in DC to raise at the Mack Arena.
