You're right, they did win 2 games this year. I apology for stating incorrect information.

Sadly, the worst Hofstra team is this year's women's Field Hockey Team. Not only have they not won a game, they've been outshot by significant margins each game, in one game they were outshot 31-2. They just lost to Sacred Heart which was the first time in 22 meetings, they've lost to them. They may...

Polito-As always your article gave me a good laugh, though sadly what you say is true. The students just won't go the games even with free tickets. I bet they could even be limo driven to the games from the dorms and just stay in the limo and ask to go back to the dorms. Even Stony Brook students se...

Horrible, horrible loss though not as bad as losing to them in the CAA Tournament last year. I wasn't at the game but when I looked at the score, I was in shock. I do know we started a freshman at d due to injuries but no excuse for this loss. They have to regroup and will have to play MUCH MUCH bet...

Do you guys know why Keane only played about 30 minutes and Carlson only played 20?

Very impressive with the various freshmen scoring and playing huge minutes. Really like Hoey as he is speedy and has great playmaking skills.

Very heartbreaking loss to give up a goal with 46 seconds left. I honestly felt Hofstra played too tentatively and are a very good defensive team but aren't very good at playmaking though their leading scorer Carlson was out (hopefully just for one game). The crowd was large which was great though I...

Very exciting game tonight!!! Anyone going? I'm going with my wife.

That was some finish-to score after St John's equalized it was amazing!!! Does anyone know why Santi did not play?

I unfortunately will not be able to make it but hope you all have a great time. Congrats to your grandson, Stu for winning the NYS high school Lacrosse Championship.

The 11th works for me too assuming the meetup is in Nassau County.

Sorry for not replying. I will not be going.

Thanks. When do you need to know by?

What time is thwe meetup starting? I work/live in Queens and don't get home until around 5:30. Also, Fabio's looks a bit pricey and I am a picky eater so sharing may not work for me. Sorry to throw up obstacles-I do want to meet everyone on the boards and talk about our shared love of Hofstra athlet...

You're right. He didn't play at all and reminiscint of this other player we had a few years ago who was injured all year but was introduced on Senior Day and then transferred. I think his name was something like Wilcoth or something close to that.

I would love to go but Oakdale is too far from me on a weeknight.

Hofstra fans should thank him as he deserves credit for Hofstra making the tournament by not playing for Hofstra!

It's the free throw differential plus Sunday not contributing much making the difference.

Thanks for the video of the team landing, Wags! Exciting!!!!

That is very classy and awesome by Hofstra! I still wish the tournament in 2020 hadn't been cancelled. I wasn't aware Mihalich had a stroke in 2020 until I read it today in Newsday!
