He can't play with a broken finger? Last I heard they have braces for it even if it's his shooting hand.

The student population has changed since the school dropped football. The students here for the most part don't care about ALL SPORTS...that was the plan from the previous administration. As for the current administration, it is much more engaged than in the past, but I think you're correct, there i...

I really enjoyed this read as it at least partly explains what we lost in killing the football program. Make no mistake about it, the administration set out to systematically destroy the program over several years...a couple of examples; our program enjoyed its best attendance when we played night g...

Where is he going? Thought he would be a lifer at Hofstra. Where was this announced?
Thoughts on his replacement? This is a tough time of the year to leave.
Wish him well.

Crickets here! No comments on our BRUTAL LOSS, 3-0 to Stonybrook?
Hugely disappointing!!!!

Good weekend for the Pride!

Always good to vanquish Stony Brook in Anything!

Hopefully we get our best player back and get more aggressive on the ofensive end. Still plenty of time this season to get ranked, win the CAA and make a strong run in the NCAA's.

Agree though, it was a BRUTAL way to end this game, heartbreaker.

Anything to end this chaos in college sports is a good thing in my opinion.

Nice article in today's Newsday on the teamandour 16th nationalranking:

Amazing finish vs. St. John's. After a lightening delay we win 2-1 it on a penalty kick with 20 seconds to play!

Overall a good weekend to start the season.

For move in day.

Wish that German was on OUR staff! Great communicator, his speech was the best, and his enthusism for the program is off the charts!

Attended last night's reception and preview. Would say a couple of hundred people attended. It was pretty low key with the new team in attendance. The presentation was about an hour with mostly footage from the season and interviews/insights from Speedy/Cole and others. All in all a worthwhile eveni...

Totally agree Mikey75....this whole idea is a waster of time, money and energy!

Nicely done!

Well done coach! Tough shoes to fill but we're rooting for you!

Looks like a good hire. Smart kid, good pedigree and knows Hofstra...also from the UK, maybe we can land us some Euros!

Maybe he'll come back after an year and a $million!
