W&M is unbeaten at home and just defeated Northeastern. We gave up a 14-point lead and lost by 6 vs. JMU. Not a good combination.

As far as having a chance to win the game, I think at this point, the only way we even have a remote chance of winning is for W&M to play like they did against Elon and Delaware, but both of those games were away, and they're undefeated at home.

I had heard the team was going to take a charter flight for this game but I guess that is out the window with the weather. They probably are getting on a bus today to get down there ahead of the storm.
Probably the best thing to do, get down there have a good practice then relax...School will probably be closed tomorrow so they won't miss much in the way of classes.

Already is. Classes are cancelled and the University will be closed after 1 today, and all day tomorrow. Really rare they close for the following day, they didn't even do that for Hurricane Sandy.

clearly the odds don't look too good for HU after the last game - W&M is flying and HU is limping after a terrible performance by both team and staff

If HU can't figure out how to play some level of D1 defense or hit their shots, W&M will simply wear them down with fundamentals - JM, sure hope you and your staff have developed more than 1 strategy to win games and stop forcing things when it's not working - this is a good team and a tough road test

that said, the CAA has seen whacky losses by EVERY team so far, and no one is unbeatable - HU can go down there and smack one of the conf's best teams right in the mouth and make a statement - they can use this opp to say, hey hold on folks, we ARE still here and we ARE still a legit contender to win it all

sure hope that's the team and staff that shows up Wed.

We brought it up several times at the Pride Lounge chalk talks and what is being said is he's healthy...just not quite ready to play...he got a few minutes in against Drexel and I agree he can a disruptive force on the defensive end for a few minutes at a time...He DOES look lost offensively.

Edit: Sean Sheldon is not starting. He averages 7.4 points and 4.6 rebounds and has a field goal percentage of .639. He has 97 field goal attempts with all of them being two-pointers. William & Mary has 41.7 percent of their field goal attempts be three-pointers and Hofstra has had 40.5 percent of their field goal attempts be three-pointers.

Hofstra is starting Green, Tanksley, Bernardi, Nichols, and Kone.

William & Mary is starting Marcus Thornton (guard), Terry Tarpey (forward), Omar Prewitt (guard), Daniel Dixon (guard), and Tom Schalk (center). Thornton and Dixon are great three-point shooters.

This is already painful to watch… we have no offense or defense, yet again. 7 turnovers 10 minutes in, and we're allowing over 60% shooting.
