Another game on SNY. Hofstra leads the series 24-5 and has won the last five contests:

Watched some of the SB game against Wagner and they were not good...I beleive one or two of their players are out (Oliyani???? SP).

Right now ESPN gives us a 59% chance of winning.

I think they will play us tough but we have much more firepower so I'm looking for us to continue our winning ways and keep Long Island for ourselves!

Massey gives us a 68% chance to win. So it's really one we should get, but it's going to be a dogfight for sure. Hoping Estrada and Silverio can stay hot and Iyiola can give us 20-25 good minutes.

Just an FYI that I posted before somewhere but Cooks has had big scoring games against them for what it's worth. We're a far better team so it would be crazy that we would lose to them. Crazier things have happened but don't think tomorrow. BTW what do u think the line will be?

While we are the better team, we are on the road and it's not a gimme. I wouldn't be surprised to see the line sit around -4.5 good guys.

I'd give 3 all day...most of what I see is 3.5 to 4.5 points

http://sevenovertimes.com/teamsummary.p ... eason=2022 predicts 77-72 with a 76.5 percent chance at winning. It expects us to lose to Arkansas and Monmouth and go 13-5 in the CAA.

I'm at a loss looking at this info. Everything seems to be dated including our coach. They show last years players but 3 to 4 of those players don't start now? Is it me? Doesn't show a won/loss record against any top 20 teams?

I'm seeing now on yahoo that we're 5.5 point favorites so if we were playing at home we would be around a 10 point favorite.

http://defiantlydutch.blogspot.com/2021 ... brook.html is Jerry Beach's "I'll Be Quirky: Hofstra vs. Stony Brook." Our win over Bucknell was our fourth consecutive unicorn score, which is the first time we ever had that score. Jerry started tracking unicorn scores in 2018-2019, and this is the first time we had four consecutive unicorn scores. Last season we did not have a unicorn score.

Ray is 7 points behind 12th place Frank Walker and 5 points behind 13th place Leroy Allen in career points. Hopefully Ray will have a better first half and pass them by halftime.

KenPom predicts us to win 75-72.

https://stonybrookathletics.com/sidearm ... ll/summary will have statistics.

Edit: Iyiola is starting, so I hope Cramer is okay. I don't have a problem with starting Iyiola over Cramer. We'll find out if Cramer plays.

Definitely seems like we're managing Iyiola's minutes. But Cramer and Dubar are stepping up admirably, playing some bully ball.

Ok first half. Need to crash the boards more. They have 9 offensive rebounds.

Awful from beyond the arc. Ray missing free throws and a lot of shots.Silverio also. I think SB quite a few O rebounds. Dubar has hit a few threes. They clearly need to play better.

Listening on WRHU and these guys have to realize that we aren't 2012 Kentucky. Lots of talk about "playing down to their opponent" and "should be blowing this team out." It's a rivalry game in their house, they want to win just as badly as we do. This was always going to be a rock fight, just land the plane in the second half and keep getting good looks inside.

They have not been able to shoot threes and haven’t defended them as well.
