Flying Dutchmen Fans

Per CT Post story on Hartford making NCAAs & coach John Gallagher. These are his quotes; not sure what to make of it, certainly timeline is confusing. But since it was in a major newspaper, felt confident I could post.

“Joe Mihalich at the hospital, he called me very day,” Gallagher said. “We have this running joke. The most underrated God of the trinity is the Holy Spirit. Joe is out on sick leave (as Hofstra coach). I would not be coach at Hartford if not for Joe. They would have fired me. He called me every day in years six and seven. The reason we’ve fought through everything is I was texting with all the time this year. He was such a rock for me.”

Great to hear how engaged he is with other coaches. Class act all the way and hopefully he recovers health wise asap regardless of whether he decides to return to the bench.

Guy is a stand up man, no question about it. He certainly deserves the best. A man with true heart and work ethic. Blessings to you Joe, would be a wonderful thing to see you back healthy again, in ANY capacity.
