I got an e-mail from the head of the ticket office and they're offering tickets;

As the 2026 Coastal Athletic Association Champions, Hofstra's men's basketball team has secured a spot in the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship and is offering you the first opportunity to claim tickets to the first and second rounds; you must complete and submit the provided form to request tickets, with a deposit required for season tickets.
Note
Expect to be contacted by Hofstra to confirm your ticket status by the end of day on Monday, March 16.
Complete and submit the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship ticket request form. here
Call or email to inquire about Hofstra Athletics Pride Club membership or to check your Pride Club status. ((516) 463-4919) (prideclub@hofstra.edu)
Contact Hofstra Athletics Ticket Office for questions. (516 HOF-TIXX)

Check Frontier from Trenton too. They are not the most reliable airline but that airport is a breeze.

Still waiting for them to call me if they have tickets left to sit with staff/family. There will be 4 of us there from my group of ticket holders, either way. And Stuball will be in town too!

Answer should be EVERYONE!! 25 years people... *25 YEARS* - This is literally the #1 thing I and all of us have wanted to experience for a quarter century. With no football we have nothing else at this scale folks. All things go aside unless it's your health - work, business, a dinner, your pickup game, a round of golf, whatever, move it or miss it man - it's the NCAAT in Tampa, everyone here has made a trip to FL for far less - others have to go across the country and spend a small fortune for this, NY to FL is so common it's practically part of daily life lol - MAKE IT HAPPEN!

I'll be there with bells on baby - ROLL PRIDE vs ROLL TIDE!!

I would love to but unfortunately can't. And, it's fine as long as I can see it on TV. For me, it's as much about the journey (just about every home game for many years), all of the CAA tourneys in person (especially in 2020 and this year), this board (even going back to CAAZone) as it is about the destination. I'm not even sure what certain people who were there yesterday in the Student Center, yet who weren't there all season long and who may not even know the team well, got out of it yesterday (whatever, happy to have them anyway). That said, win Friday and Sunday, and I may have to see about Chicago.

I'm going as I want to seize this opportunity with no guarantee on when it will happen again (hopefully not another 25 years). Maybe we can do do some kind of board meetup at some point Thursday or Friday.

I believe the team is working on an official Thursday meetup since a lot of people want to go to the early Friday game with their session/day ticket.

Cigar City has a taproom with a lot of space 5 minute drive from the team hotel, 10-15 mins away from the arena. If the Thursday team event isn't there, that could be a good spot for a meetup. 3924 W Spruce St, Tampa, FL 33607

If they do the Thursday event there I'll find somewhere else. There are definitely other breweries I'd rather go to, but would need somewhere with enough space and food.

That's great, hopefully the school does something or some things, and let's also try to get this group together before and after!

Lighthaus beer garden (more space) and Motorworks brewing/taproom are walkable to the arena. Those might be better meetup places for Friday so people can leave whenever.

Spoke to Ken Rood and he told me he's coming.
I would imagine that the school will announce a meet up real soon.

Since the school is not doing a meetup on Friday, here is my plan for that day:

Coast Kitchen and Bar for brunch/lunch
Back to hotel for Team send off at 1 PM
Uber to Motorworks brewing - 1:30. 10 minute walk to arena. 707 Harbour Post Dr, Tampa, FL 33602
Postgame win celebration - Lighthaus Beer Garden. 10 minute walk from arena. 615 Channelside Dr, Tampa, FL 33602

Feel free to meet me at any spots. Struggling with jersey choice but the Blue speedy #12 sixers is 3-0 this year.

That is very classy and awesome by Hofstra! I still wish the tournament in 2020 hadn't been cancelled. I wasn't aware Mihalich had a stroke in 2020 until I read it today in Newsday!
