This is the first of four home games we have in Nov-Dec. Some 3,000 children will be in attendance, but relatively few older fans.
I would rather see the team hold an intrasquad scrimmage for the local schools and play this game at night.
Hofstra-Molloy will be available on MSG, FloCollege and WRHU (88.7 FM).

Lions vs. Lions today.
The fact that no one else is posting here yet during this game is proof enough that it shouldn't be counted as anything other than an exhibition. We have separate divisions for a reason, Delaware's nine-point home loss to Wilmington (DE) on Friday, aside.

I did watch this on tv until about 1pm when I had a meeting I had to join. Not sure how much you can take from this. Only thing I will say baed on this and the prior two games is we are still giving up too many open looks to the other team. The more they can clean that up the better we will be. It is frustrating because we play great defense for like 20 seconds and then they make an extra pass for a wide open 3 pointer.

Molloy shot twos okay, but shot threes 3-21. Davis, Edmead, Patterson, and Plotnikov combined to have over two-thirds of their attempts be threes. Sunday and DeCady did not have foul trouble, but combining for 8 points and 6 rebounds in 33 minutes is not great. The win by 34 was by half as much as our 114-46 win over St. Joseoph's Long Island on December 6, 2024, which was our previous non-Division I game

It was an unimpressive 34 point victory
Defense was sloppy
And we gave up too many points off the dribble
Our guards we're beaten, and they got into the pain too many times

Without looking at the box score, I think our starters played way too many minutes for a game like this

On a lighter note
We had 65 points and one of our players attempted a 3 point shot
Thank god it didnt go in
Next time up the court we scored a traditional basket giving us 67 points to the delight of the kids who did the 6-7 chant with the hand jesters
That was the biggest cheer of the day
