There is a meet the team (mens and womens basketball teams) event on Thursday October 9th from 6-8 PM at the Mack. Seems to be open to everyone.

I was hoping they would repeat last years format (which included team drills and an intrasquad scrimmage). It provided a nice preview of the players moving around on the court. Sounds like they are going back to the older format (which I thought was not very interesting).

Last year there were two events for season ticket holders one was the scrimmage event the other was meet both teams women and men.

I don't recall that, Triplec - but maybe I just blew off the M&G for the scrimmage Have you heard anything about a scrimmage type event for this season??

Yeah Cards they make all the players introduce themselves and they thank the season ticket holders for coming

There were 3 preseason events last year, the first one at smok-haus with the coaching staff, then the open practice/scrimmage in the pfc, then the meet the team event at the mack.

Yes true I was only referring to the events on campus.

Has anyone heard if HU is having the "scrimmage event" for season tix holders? I hope they are! I think that was the best pre-season event in the last numbers of seasons.

What are the perks of being a season ticket holder if the exclusive events are gone? Just curious. Was surprised to see the events go away and with less games, cost is more efficient to buy tickets individually.

Anyone have any idea why the event was canceled?
Canceled means it will not be rescheduled. Postponed will mean it will be rescheduled.

The e-mail says because of unavoidable scheduling conflicts but the annual season ticket holder event will be on 10/29.

They did away with the scrimmage which was nice getting to see all the new players on the court. I wonder if this is a way of saying become a season ticket holder to get to see the team before the season starts? Perks are dwindling!

You are correct about the definitions, but people sometimes say "canceled" when they mean "postponed."
