thanks for the great find -

REALLY hoping to see this guy on staff coaching HU ball one day in some capacity - could really see him and Speedy being a tremendous 1-2 punch in the future - maybe that IS the future once JAM has fulfilled his goals and dreams here...

Imagine Speedy HC and Jay H Assistant HC? Holy cow...talk about creating long term stability - Adding on to what I hope is a long and fruitful career for JM, that could set HU basketball up for literally the next 20-30 yrs

Polito that will never happen. He has a successful business and already an asst coach for the Orlando Magic. Always nice to dream though.

I finally got around to watching the documentary. It makes me proud to see what Jay has done with his life post Hofstra. I loved watching him play at Hofstra and I'm truly impressed what he has accomplished in life.

Jasons father Richie played with my friend Bobby Kabile at Dowling. Know the family well and they are very proud of his success.

I saw a new documentary about Jason Hernandez mentioned in another thread here. It's very good, and shows a "day in the life" of him as an assistant NBA coach with the Orlando Magic:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_cont ... lT02141Hj4

Jason has since followed one of his Orlando Magic colleagues to the Charlotte Hornets, although the Hornets have not yet updated their website to reflect the new coaching staff:

https://swarmandsting.com/2018/05/22/bu ... ant-coach/

https://www.nba.com/hornets/coaching-staff

How long before Jason makes it to the top?
