We need another bounce-back game, we can clinch the regular season with a Northeastern loss to JMU.

Towson is a tough physical team that has been playing better lately...they will give us a run...hope we come out with fire after that disappointing performance in Carolina.
Only two more homes games...wow the season has flown by!

I'm shocked that line is only 1.5.

The way Hofstra handled that down in Towson, this shouldn't be that close if HU plays the same way. Gotta hit some 3s though to take Towson out of that physical style they're comfortable with.
And yes, you blink and the season's gone. Every year. Must mean we're having fun though!

Longest offseason in sports! Let's shorten it with a run in March!

We're all hoping and have the team to do it as long as our short bench doesn't become our Achilles heal!

Happy 22nd birthday to Desure Buie. Hope team plays with anger like it did against Elon following loss. Knock them out early and don’t look back.

Yes no nail biters at the end. We all want to go undefeated at home this year.

Speaking of Buie, is he back next year despite his SR status? Can someone clarify?

Yes he definitely has another year of eligibility. Hofstra always lists athletes based on academic year.

He's not being honored on Senior Day, so I guess that means he will be back.

https://static.caasports.com/custompage ... m#team.ind has Towson's statistics.

https://s3.amazonaws.com/sidearm.sites/ ... game28.pdf is Hofstra's Game Notes.
Pemberton is 15 points behind Adeleke. If he doesn't pass Adeleke tonight, I could see him pass Adeleke when he goes to Saturday's game. That will move Pemberton to fifth in career Hofstra points in CAA seasons (Apodaca scored 838 in two CAA seasons and 1,422 total). The last time we had two of those players together was Agudio and Jenkins in 2007-2008. At that point our CAA top five had Rivera rather than JWF, but that doesn't affect the last time we had two of those players.

Hofstra has one Game Notes link and names it "Towson Game Notes" or whoever their opponent is. Towson and many other schools have two Game Notes links. "Towson Game Notes" goes to their Game Notes and "Hofstra Game Notes" goes to our Game Notes. If you went to Towson's website expecting Towson to put the opponent in the title like we do, you would click on "Hofstra Game Notes" and be surprised to be taken to the ones made by us.

6 minutes in and you can already tell Towson came to play tonight. Rough start.

Getting outscored badly in the paint yet again. If they don't cut the nets in Charleston, that will be their undoing.
20-8, Towson in the paint tonight. Hofstra trails, 35-31.

Coburn has lost it. Not sure what happened to his energy and aggressiveness, but if he's not showing it and not producing, have to go to Trueheart. Joe did that in the first half and Trueheart hit his first shot (a 3).

Right wing 3 for JWF (after Hofstra was just 6/24 from 3, but 8/14 from 2) ties the game at 48-48.
He has a team-high 14 pts and 2,103 to pass Rich Laurel (2,102) for 5th-place.

The whole team has lost it at this point. Another big run for Towson. This is pretty pathetic.
