Video monitors in the Mack?

Check out the monitors in some of the pictures? Are these temporary? No sure if they are big enough.

i was at the quarterfinals. there was a video board there too. anyone know anything about this?

Those same monitors were there when I graduated 3 years ago. I would assume they're still temporary, unfortunately.

To have HD monitors it will probably come when we replace the scoreboard. Something Rick Cole to put on his wish list

OK so we now have 4 new video monitors in the Mack this clearly is good news and long overdo so what about the antiquated scoreboard?? I wonder if these are leased or did we spend some serious money. I'm hoping that Cole had everything to do with this and that this is only the beginning of upgrades to all of our sports facilities. We need to be walking the walk here and not just paying lip service to our sports programs. A big plus I believe in recruiting all around.

The scoreboard is gone. Look at the rendering included in the article. A lot of arenas do this now- this is not unique to the Mack. If they bought a Daktronics system, it isn't cheap. They are the top of the food chain for these arena video boards.

Also in the announcement is that there will be a BRAND NEW state of the art sound system! Game changer! No more announcements sounding like the E Train on 34th street!

Think it also said that we will have electronic dasher boards to replace those old "PAPER Rolls."
