One of the recent episodes of The Ringer NBA Show, which is a pretty popular NBA-focused podcast from Bill Simmon's network, did a segment on players in this NBA draft class who have the potetial to play a similar role as current players in the NBA Finals. I definitely recommend a listen:
https://www.theringer.com/2019/5/31/186 ... the-finals
In it, when discussing Steph Curry types (shoot first PGs who can play make as well), Kevin O'Connor brings up JWF, speaking to his potential as a late 2nd/undrafted prospect, and commenting that he has some Isiah Thomas in him.
I loved this, I love the comparison, and I truly think he has a chance to catch on with the right team and contribute right away. Fingers crossed...

ESPN made new draft projections yesterday, and they took JWF out.
https://www.nbadraft.net/2019mock_draft doesn't have him or Ponds.

ESPN's June 6 mock draft doesn't have him. If I had to bet, I would say he doesn't get drafted.

For some players, it may be a better situation to be a free agent and get the chance to sign with a specific NBA team that your individual skills may match better. One hinderance is that the team would be much more likely to release an undrafted player instead of the investment of a drafted one. I wish JWF the best of luck for his professional career. It is interesting to note that only 6 out of the 60 draft choices listed were college seniors.

Anyone else see a bit of Kyle Lowry’s game in JWF? He big time reminds me of him, especially his pull up jumper.

JWF worked out with the Knicks today. I'd say that I'm very happy to hear that, but then... do I really want to wish that on Justin?
