Re: MBB Recruits 2019
Hopefully we can keep this thread alive since there is a lot going on in the recruiting of college basketball players right now. Who visited over the weekend and does anyone know how it went??
Re: MBB Recruits 2019
Yes, updates are appreciated
Re: MBB Recruits 2019
As per verbal commits, Frankie Policelli to Stony Brook
Re: MBB Recruits 2019
Great pickup for them.
Re: MBB Recruits 2019
Heard that the staff was not impressed with Battle's play when he visited...funny, sometimes the coaches pass on a recruit not vice versa.

Towson has just picked up a 6'11" transfer center from USC who was a four star recruit out of Florida. His name is Chinedu 'Victor' Uyaelunmo. This is a huge get for Towson at least on the face of it!
Re: MBB Recruits 2019
Wonder who we are going to land with our last two schollies ????
Re: MBB Recruits 2019
I know this is a tease but all I know is we have a guy from Puerto Rico visiting this weekend...don't know name or position.

I know we have been known to sign kids late in the process but I wonder if we have ever signed anyone that was just finished with their junior year?? These last two scholarships are important to our success this coming year IMO so I hope we are selecting and not settling which seems to be the case as in the rejection of Battle.Captain wrote:Also Andre Curbelo a 2020 talented point guard from LUHI with P5's chasing him whom we we offered is from Puerto Rico.

We have two ex players down in Puerta Rico who might be able to with recruiting these players. Carlos Rivera and Adrian Uter.

I believe Chaz Williams gave a verbal to Pecora very early in his HS careertriplec2195 wrote:I know we have been known to sign kids late in the process but I wonder if we have ever signed anyone that was just finished with their junior year?? Yes, Williams gave verbal to Pecora as HS soph.[/quote]
I didn't know that and if he didn't transfer that would have been some team.

I know it's redundant but I would like to know what out definitive plans are in the post this year. We clearly could be vulnerable down there.HUSID74 wrote:He's a 6-3 wing...don't know anything else.Captain wrote:I know this is a tease but all I know is we have a guy from Puerto Rico visiting this weekend...don't know name or position.
