If Silverio can play that eliminates the need for Bruner. Battle is more of a wing and that is where the college game is going...we can always use another athletic wing.

Agreed, would like to see us land a "one and done big" to add to the roster's depth and versatility...

They already have 3 commits which may be the most at this point in the year since Joe has been here. They don't really have much immediate playing time left to offer, especially with the possibility of Silverio being eligible next year, and only two spots left, likely with the hope of filling one with a juco or grad transfer 4/5.

What are we thinking - is Battle in play or off the board?

Silverio is in but we don't know if he will have to sit out a year. There has been some discussion about him getting a waiver on his redshirt year...

Interesting that Desure Buie mentions something about "new friends" on Twitter the other day; wonder if it has something to do with new recruits.

I think if Selverio is eligible this upcoming season and we do sign Battle, Battle will join Cramer in red shirting next season....both Battle and Cramer are tremendous athletes who can use the extra year in developing their skills and getting stronger

Battle also plays football and is being recruited by James Madison. You have to wonder whether he's looking to play both sports. In that case we could bring back football. Lol IDK when we would know about waiver for Silverio but hope we don't short change ourselves and go this year with a short bench. I do hope we get Battle and it certainly appears we could go with a 4 guard offense at times but we need guards that will rebound. That's assuming we don't find another big. Once we get Cramer in the fold that will add to our size since I'm seeing stuff that says he is now 6'7".

The word is that there are 2 schollies available. Coaches are still recruiting. Knox still thinks he can go higher than the CAA. That's all I know.
