His FT % COULD BE BETTER BUT WHY BE nitpicking. He has solid numbers all around.

Bethea and Masic are shooting guards, not the same position...wrhualum wrote:It will be interesting to see if Bethea or Masic are asked to red-shirt next season.
Neither seem like guys who would need a year, but the minutes could be tough to come by.wrhualum wrote:It will be interesting to see if Bethea or Masic are asked to red-shirt next season.

This is ever so true and if the REAL Silverio finds himself we could be a very competitive team that again will battle for the championship in the CAA. At least right now I think that us and Delaware will be the two best teams in this league without being privy to what players are picked up via transfers and impact freshmen.garyg wrote:Hoping the back court competition will bring out the best in Silverio...he has a lot more talent then he has shown so far
Just clicked the link and haven't read the article yet but doesn't that other guy in the still shot of the video look like JWF? Or have I just been cooped up in my house to long.HUSID74 wrote:Great article on the new PG and his recruiting...https://weartv.com/sports/local-sports/ ... to-hofstra
Looks a bit like him but not his twin, lol. Thanks for the post as we begin to know what a gem we apparently have landed here. So I say to everyone what does this signing mean in terms of Caleb who a lot of people saw so much promise in. Is this an indictment on his game or is this the insurance policy on this position? I think probably a bit of both but I feel Elmo will at times slide over to the 2 and both him and Burgess will be on the floor at the same time. The possibilities are endless with the kids we have coming in and Joe won't lament that his 5 starters getting most of the minutes is a scenario that borders on disaster eg injuries and foul trouble. Just paraphrasing what he said last night. So I'm getting major excited with what could shape up to be a very special year if it in fact gets off the ground.HofstraMathew wrote:Just clicked the link and haven't read the article yet but doesn't that other guy in the still shot of the video look like JWF? This is just my opinion but I don't think we will see much of CB and SC on the floor together this coming season but maybe the next season. I think we have plenty of players already at the 2 spot to fill those minutes; especially if Coburn slides more the 3. I do think CB will get some minutes and I am hoping he works hard on his game over the summer to take that next step.triplec2195 wrote:Looks a bit like him but not his twin, lol. I think your right on HUSID. In the video where Cowart talks about his recruitment, he mentions several times the expectation of extensive playing time. I don't think he would be talking about PT if Joe had not led him to believe it was available (of course that assumes he lives up to his own capabilities and such).HUSID74 wrote:I can see him playing maybe 10 minutes or so to keep Cowart fresh...
