I wonder if anyone is leaving George Mason now that Hewitt had been let go?
A couple of nice players there with NY ties that HU was after at one point or another..

Looks like Malik Trent is getting lots of attention and offers. He has a number of official visits set up - I don't think HU is one of them.

Unless this is just a token gesture of interest, I don't understand this. I though DB was our future PG who as reported has the perfect PG set of tools (aside from weight). Unless Chandler is a 4* player (which it does not seem like he is), why would we go after a 5'10" PG with DB already in the bank. We have much higher priority needs than to give this guy a spot at this point in time.

To be fair, nobody said anything about offering him a scholarship.

OK...Ok...looks like the first few words in my comment are appropriatte - "token gesture of interest"

Desure Buie scored 25 of his team's points as Wings defeated Shenendehowa, 44-35, to advance to the NYS Federation Class AA championship game against Christ the King tomorrow night:

Any news about Wesley Alcegaire's visit this past weekend...not sure if a kid who's now in Florida is real excited about our weather lately!

Curious about that too HUSID... wouldn't surprise me at all if he has a lot of interest in coming to HU due to the level of play, the staff, and the next yrs potential
Rountree is SO athletic for a 6'8 guy - he can do it ALL - could flourish at this level provided he's healthy - wonder if there are any new updates
There is a TON of talent becoming available, HU does not need to pursue a player at the level of Kasim - if someone ends up needing to be replaced, so be it, but this program needs to make sure to go after the best available - there are a LOT of high quality transfers and JUCO's that I believe HU could land that will bring more to the table
And the continued coaching changes just cause even more players to open up - this is a VERY fertile recruiting time
Trent has become a high major player and will likely pursue that level - credit to the staff for recognizing his ability and being on him early - we've seen this quite a bit, this staff is certainly working to go after serious talent - it's very tough to land once everyone else catches on, but it just takes one at this level to catapult your program to the next level
Buie's size is a concern at the college level, but there's no denying he has proven his talent, earned his press, and the HU staff deserves kudos for landing the star PG top 10 NY player on a state championship team

Just announced that Javion Ogunyemi is transferring from Siena. 6-8, and averaged 9.3 points and 4.8 rebounds while starting 28 games. Siena board is saying his father recently moved to NYC and he wants to be closer to him, so he's looking at schools in the area. I think he's definitely worth looking at even though he'd have to sit a year.

How about adding GR Damion Lee to the Dutch roster for 2015-16?

Often there are restrictions for transfers within a Conference. Probably holds true for the CAA.

I know in softball its a two year sit out. That is why sara Mooney didnt come to Hofstra after transferring out of JMU two years ago. She was friends with Morgan lashley.

Why would Lee have to sit out if he's a graduate student?
