we were at the game yesterday. Nice to see such a big crowd. maybe not the prettiest game but a great win and a great finish to the regular season. Too bad JG couldn't have hit that last 3. DB looked real good yesterday. Congrats to all the players and coaches and especially to the seniors who gave a us fantastic year. there were a few lows but mostly highs. Its onto Baltimore. Good luck but no matter the outcome it was a great year.

CofC clearly came in with a game plan to play VERY physical, throw HU off their game - it was a good strategy for them, especially considering some of the monsters they have in the post (just huge guys), but honestly some of the physicality was too much and uncalled for - it only worked on Rokas because they literally popped him right in the face and that hit threw him off for quite a bit - of course because he's such a friggin BEAST he still put up a double-double! So take that charleston!
They also caught BB hard in the face - and this isn't trash talk, I was front and center and saw them both - so as expected, things got a big chippy at certain points, and I loved it! They took a good initial strategy and turned it into testing for a fight every time down the floor - I was happy to see our guys take no sh!t and defend their home turf.
That stuff is fine at certain points when you're trying to send a message, but an entire game? Maybe up in Rucker Park, but just doesn't work on the D1 court - as a friend of mine says, "God don't like ugly!" - so of course in the end the good guys won!
Refs were questionable at times on both ends, but considering the edginess of the game, think they had to be to keep things under control
JG hitting that 3 would've been sweet, but there are plenty of opps coming to make his lasting mark!
Wanted them to pull Tanksley and Koon to give them their due also, but I guess someone has to be on the court to end the game lol - no big thang, this team has more to do!!!!
This was a big game in front of a big crowd, and FINALLY, yes F I N A L L Y they performed as expected and desired!!! And kudos to them all!! JUST KEEP ON PEAKING!!!
