LOVE that his highlight video includes FT shooting - think that's the first time I've seen that, and I dig it!

whats not to like about Pemberton. Kid looks like he has all the talent a HS junior could possibly have along with potential to be a real college star. Very athletic. I only worry that this time next year, the kid will have a 3 - 4 star rating, draw lots of attention, and be a longshot commit for HU. I would love to have him - kid looks like a guy who could carry a team at the next level.

According to twitter, we are in NC today looking at a few prospects for this '16 class. Raequan Scott, Orlando Robinson and Jahlil Carter. Didn't find much else about these guys, only that Winthrop looked at them yesterday.

All has been quiet for the remaining 2 spots for this year's class. Hope to hear something soon..

Mamadou Diarra picks up an offer from UConn. So while it looked like he could have been a promising underrated big pick-up by JAM and co., a big school offer is likely to erase Hofstra off the board.

Also Rawle Alkins got an offer from St. John's. He already has a dozen big 5 offers on the table though.

Again credit the staff for being on sleeper guys early... Seen this a lot now, HU is one of the early offers, many haven't recognized them at that point, then boom major offers lol - they're on the talent, some serious talent, just need to keep going until they land them...

Alkins is a high major talent that actually wants to stay local, smart offer for Mullin

Given that Alkins wanted to stay local, gotta wonder if he comes to Hofstra if St. John's doesn't make a coaching change.

Change is already done, Lavin out and Chris Mullin in - he's the one that made the offer... Lavin for some reason did not pursue

HU offered quite some time ago, prob had a very very slim chance due to his desire to stay close and Speedy... I dont think HU was a serious contender at all, but he gave them a look due to those factors - I think now with SJU he's likely to go there

We just offered PA player Dylan Painter

Along with the offers mentioned above, we also offered 2 HS freshman NYC guards, Omar Silverio from St. Rays and Bryce Wills from Iona Prep. I dont think we need to start a 2018 recruiting thread yet, just wanted to add these guys to the mix. Also offered a '16 kid from Philly, Charlie Brown. We had a very active day with offers to future classes, but haven't heard a whisper about the last 2 spots for next year. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. But one could assume if we made a ton of offers today to the '16-'18 classes, that we already locked up the final 2 spots for next year? Pure speculation on my part, but I'm hoping to hear something quickly when the signing period officially begins.

HF101 - Painter looks like he would be a nice pickup. based on his video, he's a young big (6'9") who actually already has a jumpshot and inside moves. Would be a nice change for HU - having a big who is a true offensive threat.

Unfortunately, he has lots of offers.

Elijah Hughes is taking an unofficial visit on Saturday. He currently has offers from Fairfield and Iona.
