Eh... better than losing - team is in the games, just can't score and close. Really just playing for the conf tournament at this point - handful of games left, definitely not out of it, but need to win some of these last ones to build momentum for the CAA's

Nice solid win
This team plays defense well and we have solid goalies
Scoring need to improve
We are 2-0-2 in conference
This either no real offensive threats
We are scoring by committee
They may be good enough

Huge road win to put us in an solid spot to reach the CAA playoffs heading into home stretch. If we can beat William & Mary Thursday will be positioned for a 4-0-2 start with Hampton on schedule Sunday.

Slowly climbing out of the hole... not there yet, as noted they need to continue to string together important conf wins - making the CAAT is an absolute must for a program like this - that's table stakes and should be a foregone conclusion literally every year. The real measure and expectation is a conf championship, but that's a far bridge for this team right now.
One game at a time...

Tough 1-0 loss to William & Mary with what looked like a tying goal waved off with under 10 mins left. A huge missed opportunity to nearly clinch a CAA playoff spot and now they are going to be in real battle for one in final three matches after Hampton and it could come down to season finale against Stony Brook. Stony Brook having a down season so far and only beat Hampton 1-0 last night but you know they will be primed and ready against us with their head coach's familiary with us so hopefully we can somehow clinch before that match,

Ugh, continue to shoot ourselves in the foot - keeping games close at least - will be a battle to the finish line - this program must make the CAAT, there's really no excuse not to with Simon at the helm. He's got to get this program back on track.
Both men and women have absolutely taken a dip compared to their historical performances. Haven't fallen off a cliff thankfully, but definitely sub-standard. Men is more understandable trying to replace a 30 year legend. Women much less acceptable considering Simon's longevity and proven success here. Everyone can have bad years, and he had one last year. Simply can't follow it up with another dud.
CAAT or bust. Frankly it SHOULD be CAA championship or bust, but we just don't have talent for me to see that right now (and what they have is young). Hopefully they catch lightening in a bottle.

We beat 0-5 Hampton today 2-10-1, 2-1. We were expected to win this and did just that. Hampton got a goal that slid thru our goalies hands and I'll give Bailey a pass on this goal considering the weather conditions but a goal she should never give up. We had 6 SOG to their 2 and both goals scored by Amy Meadows. She's playing very well. A good expected win for Simon and crew.

not pretty against a poor team but win is a win. Next match against Monmouth will be massive for CAA playoff implications
