For me it’s more easily readable and updates pretty much automatically!

Davis and Aranguren continue to emerge as our reliable sophomore guard duo - really think the sky is the limit with them! Love these portal pickups

So I know we'd never know even if there was a feed of this game...but is Gadsden injured, sick, or benched?

He hasn’t checked in at all, I’d assume one of the former two options unless something happened off the court - wish we knew!

We went now 2-0, up 8-2, tied at 8, up 12-8, down 14-12, up 15-14, down 16-15, up 21-16, up 21-18, up 24-18, up 24-19, up 27-19, up 27-22, up 29-22, up 29-27, up 31-27, up 34-27, up 34-29, up 36-29, up 36-31, and up 37-31 at halftime.
Plotnikov started, but hasn't shot, and Robinson has 5 field goal attempts, 2 free throw attempts, and 7 points. If Robinson was going to shoot, why didn't he start? It's now 39-36.

Robinson lowkey turning into a force, and I’m totally here for it. Would love to see this replicated over time, but his confidence is definitely going up!

Has Sanders been on the court?

Sanders has only 12 minutes of playing time listed.

11-20 from 3 not counting sanders, up 15 with under 4 mins left.
KJ Cruz and Jean deserve the minutes right now.

Ballgame! Nice win and 2 guys with 20, one with 19!

Love how this team is gelling right now and digging deeper into the bench. Speedy Seems to be plugging players into perfect spots. Let’s hope our bench gets deep, something we’ve been short on for as long as I can remember. Hard to win back to back to back games in March with 6-7 guys.

I actually think this is their best win so far. This was a very solid performance, up as much as 18, winning by 13, on the road, as 4.5-point underdogs. I am more impressed with this one than even the wins over Seton Hall, UMass, Rice, and Arkansas State (and that's even with what the Red Wolves did yesterday).
Nearly had a trio of 20-point scorers. Davis and Robinson with 20 each, Aranguren with 19. Robinson has been leaving Speedy no choice but to keep giving him more minutes.
This is a very tough formula to beat for CAA opponents when the share like this and have balance and efficiency like this:
Robinson 7/12, Aranguren and Davis 6/10 each, Graham a perfect 5/5 (along with 6 boards).
Yes, still about half of their shots from 3 (22 of 45) but who cares this time when they made half of their 3s (11/22) and when they still took 20 FTA (making 15).
And the held Norfolk State's leading scorer (Moore Jr.) to less than half (10 pts) of his season average (21.1) coming in. Great job keying on him and limiting him (only 3/9 fg).
Again, given that Norfolk State was -11 at W&M, +9 at Hampton, and +11 at Stony Brook, Hofstra being +13 at Norfolk State may give an early positive inkling as to how HU may shape in CAA play this year. Another very solid win to build off of before Temple on Sunday.

We won 80-67. The combination of line and over/under expected us to lose 68.5-64, so Norfolk State scored about what they were expected to score, while we scored 25 percent more. When a team has four players shoot well and combine for 70 points, they will probably win. Our largest lead was 19 at 64-45. We made half of our 22 threes. It was the first time we shot threes at least .500 in consecutive games since February 17 and 22, 2018. It's too bad we could not watch.
https://nsuspartans.com/sidearmstats/mbball/media has the box score.
It was the first time from 2002-2003 to now that we shot threes at least .500 and free throws at least .750 in consecutive games.

Seemed like they played well, defended well again, shot very well, rebounded, assists on a lot of buckets. not ideal with fouls and turnovers. Wish I could have watched it!

Same, the lack of video was a real vibe killer! Still followed along to support the boys, seems like it was a well rounded victory

https://www.espn.com/mens-college-baske ... /401723771 is the AI recap.
https://s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/side ... game11.pdf are our Game Notes from before the game. Gadsden was listed as a starter, so it does not explain why he did not play, and we might have to wait until Sunday for our next game to find out if and when he will play again.
We're 6-3 against Division I, but with a point differential per game of -1.9. We have the sixth or seventh best field goal percentage differential (+.067) of teams that shoot threes worse than their opponents. 45 percent of our season field goal attempts are threes, including 51 percent by our four players with by far the most field goal attempts. Robinson is fourth with 89 field goal attempts, which is almost as much as Graham (fifth with 49) and Gadsden (sixth with 41) combined.
https://gohofstra.com/news/2024/12/10/m ... treak.aspx is titled "Pride Dominates On Road; Ends Spartans 18-Game Home Court Win Streak." Norfolk State's 18 game home winning streak was the eighth longest active home winning streak, and Jerry Beach did not write than before the game. It made me think of when we ended Towson's home winning streak. I checked, and we ended Towson's 14 game home winning streak on January 11, 2018. We came back to tie that game, Towson missed a three with the shot clock off, and Jalen Ray made a three at the buzzer to win 76-73. The seven teams with active home winning streaks of over 18 games are Conecticut (26), Houston (26), Drake (25), Samford (25), Dayton (23), Iowa State (23), and Purdue (23). I live within three hours of teams with three of the nine longest active home winning streaks.
https://gohofstra.com/sports/mens-baske ... core/13422 is the box score. The attendance was 1,562.
The game made a big difference on KenPom. We moved up from 188th to 144th, the CAA passed the Big South for 17th, Davis moved up from fourth to third on Coastal Athletic Association all-kenpom.com and Aranguren is now fifth on that. If CAA awards were done now, I don't think Davis and Aranguren could both be on the first team. UNCW (138th), Charleston (143rd), Us (144th), Elon (145th), and Northeastern (152nd) are close together for the best CAA team in KenPom. Towson has disappointed. We reclaimed the CAA's best defense on KenPom.

They're going to have a great chance, maybe even be the favorites, to cut the nets in DC if this continues into March. Like 2020, they'll go as far as their defense takes them.

Yeah love the D this team is playing so far and the biggest surprises have been Sanders who seems to have lost his shot and minutes and Robinson's play. There have been times that I have been totally disgusted with Robinson's game but seeing is believing and he could emerge as the X factor on this team. Speedy said in the post presser that he's hitting the gym hard and it has paid dividends. All positive right now. Nice win.

Nice road win! The guys got a big lead and never looked back...nice to see for a change!
Worried about the status of Gadsden, hopefully its the flu or something like that. Does anyone know if he dressed? Of course no video, not even game pictures posted.
Sanders is another issue. He looks lost on the court and slow...Robinson making up for his poor play though.
Lookin forward to Temple, a win at home will give us an excellent OOC start.
