Pride if you didn't get the last e-mail from the new head of ticket sales contact the ticket office and they will get it straightened out.

Renewed Friday - For the uninformed there is a substantial Senior Citizen Discount

I renewed over the phone on Friday; nobody mentioned any kind of Sr discount. I am now following up with Ticket office. Thanks for the heads up

ZMAN didn't know this either had renewed a while ago but will inquire re this. TY

I thought you had to sit in the upper level to get the senior discount.

So here's the answer I received;
Thank you for reaching out! We do offer a senior discount, and I apologize for not making that more widely known. Because your tickets have already been paid for, we would not be able to offer you that pricing for this year. I can, however, make a note for next year and you will be able to claim that discount for those tickets.

I wonder if anyone here thinks this is an acceptable response and with a lot of us older alumni going to the games why was this such a SECRET?? i'VE BEEN A SEASON TICKET HOLDER FOR A LONG TIME!! Cha ching!!

Yea, that leaves a bit of a sour taste. You are probably like me though and pay for tickets, pride club, and donate every year. I would just consider the unobtained discount part of your donation for the year.

Triplec, I received the same answer, and responded to her that was unacceptable. She again said there was nothing she could do. Once I figure
out who above her I can contact, I intend to pursue this.

Cactus, I respectfully disagree. I am 73, drive 1.5 hrs each way to see the games, I don't need to donate additional funds than I already do.

Thanks for the input. Us old guys could be pricks cancel our season tickets and re buy them. I don’t like doing this so I think we should receive some dispensation for getting short changed.

I don’t see why they can’t give you the discount retroactively, or at the very least, create a gift card as a credit for next years season tickets, so that you get it extra reduced. I agree that isn’t acceptable. I’m sorry guys. This isn’t the way to treat your most loyal base.

Sorry I opened up a can of worms - I got a discount last year also - thought everyone was receiving it. That's an absurd answer re a retroactive discount. Just for the record my $200 per ticket reduced by $75 per. Not exactly "chicken feed"

Not a can of worms on your end Zman. Shocked and disappointed the HU response was "sorry, too bad"! I've been paying full price (including just a week ago) for "senior tickets"! Many of the seniors are long-time supporters of the program. The fact that a refund cant be issued for the difference in price (senior vs regular) for tickets just purchased is mind blowing. And its not about the $ amount, as most of us would give the monies back to the program in some other way.

Terrible attitude and response...hope its just because of a new person who is "Going by the Book."
I will be renewing my tickets soon and demanding the discount in ADVANCE!
