In 10 days, HU's NET has slipped from 48 to 71.

This is also only one potential bracket, but it's very recent, as of this morning. It has HU (once a 12 seed on many projections) down at a 14 seed now, with a very tough draw against 3rd-seeded Houston (whose NET is 4):

With an NET of 71 you can't expect better than a 14.

We are dropping everywhere over the past 10 days. Our Sagarin has dropped to number 104 at 76.92 barely ahead of Northeastern at 110 and 76.55....what's even more telling is that our Sagarin rating titled "Recent" is down to 70.92 with Northeastern's Recent at 78.02.....

It only takes one win and watch how everything turns around.

Yup, one win and we're talking about how to win three in three days as a 1 seed, and the UNCW and JMU losses and the bad D over the past five games are in the far distance in the rearview mirror.

Still though, to win a title, they probably need to correct the D and win over these last two regular season games than suddenly try to fix the D during the tourney.

We need wins and hopefully solid wins. As far as turning the D around in short order that has got to be the battle cry and we all hope that they can come up with some kind of miracle cure and need to rebound better. Much better.

Get back to giving the kind of effort having the type of communication they had before, and they can get back to at least decent defense again.

Buffalo is going to be so dangerous for someone in this year's tourney. For a few teams, probably. St, John's can be too, but it depends which St. John's team shows up. And I think Hofstra can be too, IF they get there, depending on the draw.

SNY left out a team in New York that is the 1 seed in their tournament that lets the better seed host each game. Colgate is the 1 seed in the Patriot League.

Edit: They made another mistake. They said "if they don't win the CAA Tournament, they'll likely land in the NIT." We have an automatic bid to the NIT if we need it.
