If we again depend upon the three, we will be in trouble
With the plethora of guards that we have
We should be pressing at almost every possession
It should be 40 minutes of mayhem
I don't see us at this point out rebounding anybody
Also, I don't see us dominating defensively unless the guards take over the game

i agree totally. We should go the full Nolan Richardson 40 minutes of Hell. Should start pressing when they get off the bus.

I like the pressing style of basketball as long as its us that's doing the pressing. If we're an inept team offensively a sure way to pickup easy baskets but will need plenty of fresh legs. As much as this seems to make sense this is not Speedy type basketball so don't hold your breath on this.

The CAA schedule was announced earlier than last year. Changes are that the regular season ends on a Tuesday, and the CAA Tournament is Saturday to Wednesday instead of Friday to Tuesday. Counting Monday games with the preceding Saturday, here are the teams that have off each day:

Monday December 29: Monmouth
Wednesday December 31: Us
Saturday January 3: Elon
Thursday January 8: Charleston
Saturday January 10: North Carolina A&T
Thursday January 15: UNCW, Campbell, and Hampton (there are five games instead of six)
Saturday January 17: William & Mary
Thursday January 22: Drexel
Saturday January 24: Stony Brook
Thursday January 29: Northeastern
Saturday January 31: UNCW
Thursday February 5: Towson
Saturday February 7: Monmouth
Thursday February 12: Hampton, North Carolina A&T, and Campbell (there are five games instead of six)
Saturday February 14: Northeastern
Thursday February 19: Stony Brook, Towson, and Elon (there are five games instead of six)
Saturday February 21: William & Mary
Thursday February 26: Us
Saturday February 28: Drexel
Tuesday March 3: Charleston

Northeastern, UNCW, and Towson have their off days 14 or 16 days apart, while we have a big gap between off days. Towson has off two out of the first three Saturdays in February. Every team has one of the first eleven days off and one of the last nine days off except for UNCW and Towson, with UNCW's second off day five days before Towson's first off day.

Here are the off days by team:
Us: December 31 and February 26
Campbell: January 15 and February 12
Charleston: January 8 and March 3
Drexel: January 22 and February 28
Elon: January 3 and February 19
Hampton: January 15 and February 12
Monmouth: December 29 and February 7
North Carolina A&T: January 10 and February 12
UNCW: January 15 and January 31
Northeastern: January 29 and February 14
Stony Brook: January 24 and February 19
Towson: February 5 and February 19
William & Mary: January 17 and February 21

Charleston has one home game, four away games, and one off day in the last six gamedays.

Fun cryptic tweet here. Did they actually sign a big or book a non conference D1 home game? Either warrants that reaction at this point. Lol

At least his first name is a good omen and can potentially set up some good headlines, like "Victory Leads Hofstra to Win."
