Just a bad loss to a bad Towson team no excuses

Except for FOs and some penalties, Towson looked pretty good to me.

Tough to win back-to-back road games five days apart.

Towson is much better than their record. Still a frustrating loss though since we could have buried them and now they are very much alive for CAA tourney bid at 2-3 after 0-3 start. Monster game for us with Delaware Saturday.

Team looked awful in the first half. Typical Tierney team in that they rarely play four quarters. Don't get your hopes up against Delaware. The program continues to sink in my view.

Eh, let's see if this is still a top 20 team after the latest L - and you know very well this isn't a top 20 program, it's a program that has a present ranking that is highly subject to change based on a record against a very weak schedule. But I can tell you are going to rest your laurels on that single current and temporary data point, one that I HIGHLY question is even accurate - you are fully prepared to die on that hill, and I'll simply respect ya for it!

Its not that we lost to Towson but the way we lost For 3 quarters we were lethargic trailing as much ad 10-4 It was a blowout at that point Then the light switch went on but too little to late This team needs to play a full 60 minutes if we expect to make the NCAAs I put this on the coaching staff Now there is still several games left to turn this around and make me believe But we can also fall into a funk and not even make the CAA tournament if we are not in the top 4

Nice first Half against Delaware as we lead 8-4. H 2 shots. Herber great again on faceoffs as he is dominating again. Delawares Kitchen with only one goal and Tierney has not scored and I think only 2 shots. Philbin steps up with 4 goals. thirty more minutes to play.

Leading 10-6 going into the 4th quarter Delaware scores 5 goals in a little over 4 minutes and now leads 11-10. Time to regroup.

So down 13-10 with 90 seconds left we score 3 goals to tie it at13 all. WOW!

Everyone has been working that high to low pass on us. Saw it coming a mile away. Defensemen covering nobody and not looking at the net. This was a typical Tierney era loss - up by 4 in the 4th and a collapse. Can't wait to hear the excuses from Husid and Dutchflid. Thanks for the Polito compliment. Polito's post are way more incisive than mine and he packs more emoji power than I do.

Its like they were teasing us. WE know the ending but we keep falling for the same stuff over and over again. Its like Lucy holding the football for Charlie Brown. He knows what will happen but he keeps hoping she will not pull the ball away. Its insanity.

Another brutal heartbreaking loss where they teased us with late comeback. Drexel now is crucial game in terms of making the CAA tourney. Would be incredibly frustrating to not be part of CAA tourney when we are hosting it.

This loss was as bad or worse than the loss to Drexel in 2017 or so when we were up by 7 at the half. This is a typical Tierney loss. His teams can't or won't play 4 quarters. If you think we are beating Drexel next week in Philly I have bridge to sell you. Its always the same and this must stop. He's got to go. I'm still waiting on the Tierney supporters to rationalize this one away. So far crickets.

Always top 20 mid season. Never at season end. Not a winner. Sorry.
