CofC was a home favorite over HU, but I do not think they were a higher rank than HU was at the time. What I am trying to say is, for the most part, HU performed in 2018-19 just the way the rankings in sources like KenPom rated the team. This morning NU is #78 and HU is #91.

In order to do that you have to pick a ranking and know what the rankings were as of when the games were played. The NCAA has the NET after previous days. When we won at Charleston, we were 51st and Charleston was 108th. That's arguably a bigger gap than what you would say from home court advantage, but comparing the two rankings without factoring in home court doesn't work if the home team was a little worse. The NET and RPI break games into quadrants, but neither one makes predictions or quantifies home court advantage. The Sagarin, KenPom, and other rankings are only available as of the current day and the end of previous seasons.
