The all-kenpom.com team has Estrada first, Towson's Cameron Holden second, Drexel's Camren Wynter third, Towson's Charles Thompson fourth, and Towson's Nicolas Timberlake fifth. A team has never had three players on the First Team. I hope voters don't decide that a POY must come from a regular season champion if that team was picked eighth (Towson) or ninth (UNCW), and I hope voters don't decide that us having four or five double-digit scorers mean Estrada shouldn't be POY. How players and teams were expected to do should be irrelevant for awards.

Evan don't think you need to hold your breath on this one. If he doesn't win it that would be a major travesty.

I e-mailed the CAA to request the vote amounts, which the CAA used to provide, and I did not get a response. There are four voters for each school, and two of them work for the school and are not allowed to vote for their own players, so unanimity is impossible. As a senior, JWF was unanimous except for people who couldn't vote for him.

Standard move where he maintains his college eligibility while testing waters to get his name out there similar to what JWF did in 2018. He will most certainly still be back at Hofstra next season.

Lets not get paranoid here at least he's not on the transfer list. This is no different then Justin getting himself some free professional advice and if nothing else this could improve his ever evolving game.
