NCAA doesn't televise any games until final four. ACCNX will probably stream this game. You just need a cable subscription which includes ESPN

At the end of the game, the PA announcer proclaimed the final score as "Penn State 2, Hofstra 8." Don't you usually lead with the winning team?

EDIT: Penn State's goalie played the entire match.

Here's are some links:

The highlights have 16 likes on YouTube. The First Round win has 3 likes. If you take out the likes from me, the ratio is 15 to 2.

American sports list games as X at Y, but soccer lists home teams first. Soccer gives scores in the form Penn State 2-8 Hofstra.

I hope it's a subscription that just requires ESPN, as opposed to requiring ACC Network, which I get on TV, but much fewer people get.

So happy for this group, repping HU in a big time way, playing strong, and winning against P5's - they've def earned all to pay attention

Big one obviously against Pitt here... all big ones from here on out - I don't know much about them, do we think this is a winnable matchup??

They're very good, probably had the hardest schedule in the sport and went 12-5-1, high-powered offense. If you go by Massey Rating, they have the best offense in the country. 2nd best is...Hofstra. So it should be a really fun horse race, definitely winnable but going to be a challenge.

Awesome that we can watch this game...so excited for the coach and this team.

As others said it was great to see them en masse at the Molloy game...and for once we had people who could throw t-shirts higher than four rows up in the stands!!!!

Finally snagged not one but two...my wife gave the second one to a little girl behind us!

So if the NCAa is allowing Pitt to stream it for free how come Hofstra wont stream it on to the big screens in the arena after the game is over

Pitt is not streaming; ACC network plus, operated by ESPN, is. It streams all ACC games in most sports. I assume this is part of the deal between ESPN & ACC.

Pittsburgh is fourth in goals per game. They won 5-2 hosting Northern Illinois, who is eighth in goals per game, and their Nick Markanich leads witth 16 goals. Ryan Carmichael leads in points and is tied for second in goals behind Markanich, who is second in points. With those two, Matthew Vowinkel, and Hendrik Hebbeker, Pittsburgh has to face four of the top twelve in points in a span of two games. Half of the top twelve in points are in New York with our three, Cornell's Tyler Bagley, LIU's Emil Jaaskelainen, and Niagara's Jelldrik Dallmann.

The last NCAA Tournament game in which both teams scored at least 3 goals was the 2019 Final, where Georgetown beat Virginia on penalty kicks after it was 3-3.

Heckuva battle… held them low scoring so far, but now down 2, that feels tough to overcome in a defensive fight.

3-0 now. They are chasing the whole game. Very tough opponent. Congrats to Richard and the squad on a great season.

Clemson won the NCAA College Cup today, defeating Washington, 2-0.

Pitt did not get past Notre Dame after defeating us. ND lost to Clemson in the semifinals. Washington defeated Georgetown in the semis.
