Re: Coburn
I saw this and was of the belief that his basketball days were over and his emphasis would be on school. Does this mean he will be playing somewhere else another season? I'm a bit confused here!!
Re: Coburn
Entering the transfer portal means, I believe, that he's looking to play somewhere. Wishing him the best of luck.

Tareq Coburn
@tareqcoburn
Hi everyone, I’ve made an academic decision to forgo playing professionally right now to finish my schooling amid pandemic. I’m only interested in a school that has a Physician Associate/Assistant (PA) Masters degree program. In regards of saving everyone’s time and energy - I’m not interested in anything else. Thank you

Good for him He is focused on his future
Re: Coburn
Great kid and player...wish him only the best!
I think we all knew he was not coming back as he already sat out for one year at Hofstra.

Class act, Champion. Love that he is taking advantage of the extra year of eligibility to finish a masters of his choosing.

Not thrilled to see him in a St. John's uniform but I wish him well nonetheless.
Re: Coburn
Congratulations to Tareq on his admission to St. John's graduate program for physician assistants AND his chance to play at a higher level in D1. If anyone can pull it off, he can.
