Speedy brings a ton of intangibles and is outstanding with player development in every sense of the word. He is loyal and a high character guy. I sometimes question some in-game tactics, but the team plays hard for him, and that is probably the most important. We are fortunate to have him.

I'm not suggesting we sit starters. I would limit their minutes, however. I don't think Speedy needs to run the team into the ground for a game that is totally meaningless at this point

Yes, I know he occasionally runs plays, most frequently the drive and kick out to the corner, and high ball screens. There is a lack of sophistication to the offense. Definitely relies on Cruz isolation most often when we need a score. And the whole building sees it coming
