Re: Game 18 at Drexel

Hey stuball did you hear the drexel announcer when discussing JM's coaching background refer to Mihalich as Joey bag of donuts too? No joke, I thought that was what I heard.

Thursday night Delaware

OK this season is getting interesting. Win or lose the games have been very exciting, sometimes maddening always nerve wracking. We are getting to crunch time. Thursday's game may be a crossroads game. Last year Delaware sent us home. Last year the Rok was badly outplayed by Carter I believe. This y...

Re: Game 17 at Towson

The Towson announcer made plenty of mistakes. Please remember that a one man broadcast is very challenging. If he had a non-speaking spotter/stat guy his job is a lot easier. I am thinking he is flying solo and that is tough. Where you can really bitch is the incompetent 3 man ref team...I think the...

Re: Game 13 - at William & Mary

This is a William and Mary team that lost a ton of important players from last year. Daniel Dixon, Jack Whitman. The great shooter from Kentucky whose name eludes me and another shooter in Malinowski. That is a boatload of points. (Evan?) A loss here is not a good omen for the season. Let's get Caa...

Re: How Good Are We?

Jojo I think that is a very good question. Besides Gustys and Sabety, this is a young team with a lot of new faces. I like the depth. I like that different players are stepping up. They are learning to play together and maybe the coach is getting a handle on how to play 9 players or so. The depth sh...

Re: Monmouth/Rider

This game was a real psychodrama. The first half was one where I was wondering why I root for this team. In the second half it started to look like so many tough losses that the masochists known as Hofstra basketball fans have had to swallow. [bFinally it was a game and win that can re-define a team...

Re: MBB Recruits 2018

Would REALLY love to know things stand after Kupsas visit... HUSID or Captain...any word on this?? Kupsas seems to be of primary interest. I heard that Coach M. was to attend the LuHi Chaminade game today. On 24/7 Kupsas has 9 teams offering but seven have interest level as cool. The only 2 "w...

Re: MBB recruits 2017

Good Morning Captain...anymore input from your contact on who may still be leaving and what staff may still bring in ?? No more info but I will tell you that like Jamal Robinson, my source even told me where this unnamed player would be going so I think unless something has happened in the interim,...

Re: MBB Recruits 2018

Try and check out David Nzekwesi's video. He has been offered by HU and is from the Netherlands but goes to school in Texas. 6"9" and 235. On his twitter account there is some video. He reminds me of Patrick Ewing...he has an inside and outside game. maybe he is a friend of Schutte also fr...

Re: MBB recruits 2017

I agree with paragraph one and two Polito.
I see they offered another big from the Netherlands 6'9" and 235 for next year. Maybe a buddy of Schutte? Things appear to be looking up!

Re: MBB recruits 2017

If Walker stays he would not have a grad year to play since he never red shirted. If he leaves and drops down to a D2 school he can play immediately, if D1 he would need to sit out.

Re: MBB recruits 2017

Hi Gary
My friend sent me this message and told me he was leaving for Europe for a couple of weeks. If I was a betting man I would say he was on the level this time. Jojo had a good idea to go to the PFC today to see who is not here.

Re: MBB recruits 2017

The board has been very quiet. I have a friend who will remain a knowledgeable unnamed source. He gave me the info about Robinson to LIU well before it became public. He does like to fool with me as well so don't shoot the messenger. The most recent word is that 2 more peripheral players will not re...

Re: MBB recruits 2017

So if one or 2 current players should exit,(which might still happen) what positions should be addressed either for this season or next? Would the team play with 11 schollies next year and have some redshirts? Remember any player(s) that might move this year would probably be marginal players this s...

Re: MBB recruits 2017

Montverde was a loaded team this year. Seton Hall signed their 6'10" center, VCU signed a 6"7" forward, and Grant Shepherd who someone on this board was raving about signed to a Canadian college. Radovic appears to have been behind these guys on the depth chart. It's a great program a...
