Agree with HUSID - Rabinowitz especially after Shuart and Margiotta passed away had no need for D1 athletics. Hard to throw shade at Pecora for bailing to what seemed like a better job.

I'm not sure what is making me more angry the obvious decline in the program or the mounting pile of excuses it has generated. Hofstra has a lot to offer and can compete at the national level as it has in the distant and recent past. Quinnipiac just took the NCAA title in hockey for God's sake. You'...

The other excuse is that the lacrosse world has changed. That's true - we now stink and everybody else does not.

Nothing personal Stu. The program seems like its hurtling to rock bottom. Maybe a 4 - 10 year it seems. Worst since maybe the Harry Royle days not sure.

Frankly, I'm a little angry at these kids who are transferring. We invest scholarships, facilities, time and money in these players and they show zero gratitude for the opportunity given them. I know this position is completely old school but I don't care that's the way I view it.

Between the transfer rules and NIL mid majors are in a real bind. Very hard to build a team or program. Every year will be a pick up game.

If you go to the program's twitter page there's a pic showing two players celebrating like it was a win. Then you read the fine print about the 8 goal loss. The program has morphed from bad to delusional. The sport's info people are even now slinging propaganda! I can't take it anymore.
