Athletes get exactly five years of eligibility to compete for five seasons, no redshirts, five year clock starts upon high school graduation or turning 19, lots of seniors would suddenly be eligible again.

If you think things have been crazy so far, pandemonium will break out if they implement the 5x5 rule this far into the process.
