Re: Conferences In The Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Are Worse
The CAA is definitely going through a down year, could be a lot of parity in the conference this season. Towson is playing well and C of C has been playing without their big man Brantley. Don't know why UNCW was picked so high this year as they lost a lot including their best player and a real good...

Great to see! Congratulations to Krista and the team.ProudofPride wrote:Nice win over Wake Forest today! Always good to beat a power conference opponent, regardless of that opponent’s record. Great performances by Leon and Durant.

HUsid you said our forwards dont crash the boards because they are not athletic enough. How about our guards. You dont think they are athletic enough. Sienas guards Penn 5ft11 had 4 boards Clareth 6ft5 3 boards Bentley 6ft2 5 boards and shivers 6ft4 5 boards and kahil 6ft0 2 boards. Thats 19 reboun...

Oh so now Dayton was about timing???? Come on! Read your posts...we were great against Dayton and now we STINK! My guess is we are somewhere closer to our performance in the Dayton game. Sure Siena was a stinker but it is ONE game...And oh by the way the Dayton coach is Anthony Grant and his teams u...

Re: Game#6 Siena
What good is playing zone to protect the bigs from foul trouble if it is terribly ineffective? Staying out of foul trouble is not an end in itself. How about occasionally using different looks without bigs Gustys and Sabaty - for example Angus, Truehart and Radovic in the back row. Why don't you as...

HUSID love your loyalty toward the team and university. Its time to take off the rose colored glasses and head out of the sand. We want this team to make the NCAAs and win the CAA. You cannot do that by turning it on and off. WE play three to four games in a row and if this team has trouble with fo...

You can't COACH effort. It comes from your heart and you must have PRIDE in your performance...we had non...

No excuses, just the facts...also interesting is that Joe's teams have played Siena more times than any other school in his career.stuball888 wrote:Now Husid let’s not start with excuses already. Good coach or not how do you give up 115 points to Bucknell.

Its all about selling newsdays newspaper and online hits. Parents want to read about their kids and see their names in the paper. Also the sports editor for newsday is Steve marcus who is an SBU grad. Stu, Steve Marcus is not the sports editor...he's a college beat guy who I think is now part time....

Re: Game#6 Siena
Siena has a good coach in Jimmy Patsos and is real tough in their building where they typically draw large crowds. Hopefully most of the students are away for the holiday and the place will be less rowdy.

One thing that we don't talk about but that this program does a great job with is strength training. Look at our kids from year to year; they get bigger and stronger...Pemberton and Foeman are outstanding examples how they have gotten bigger and stronger.

Polito I won't quote your entire post but the Fl St scenario was totally different...look at who we lost to back then. After beating Dayton we played two POWER CONFERENCE schools, not cupcakes!

They are dealing from strength It will not be a sellout...you're smoking their dope...my brother in law is a season ticket holder and he will get me tix.....

If we comment on the stories they produce online maybe it will have some impact...their college sports coverage is totally biased!

Rotation. Fresh legs on the court as often as they are needed (ex: Rok being gassed for majority of the game last night with no sub, not effective). The team has the talent to keep a good rotation going, so there's no reason why JM shouldn't have figured this out by now! We played nine guys vs Aubu...

How would you propose he use the team differently?Mike34 wrote:If JM utilizes the team properly, then I'm sure we could compete for the CAA title this year. However, JM unfortunately doesn't do that.
I also said this all of last season, and the fact that it is still an issue is extremely concerning.
