What I see in HU is a very good team, not a great team. Being more athletic, more physical,play better defensive, and better basketball smarts are needed. Biggest stat is 20 turnovers. You cannot win games with that number. 22 GWU points off those turnovers.

The more conference members means each college gets LESS of the one bid to the NCAAT money. It will become 1/12 not 1/10. It also means less chance to schedule large teams and large payoffs in the nonconference schedule.

Fordham is not going to be in a local conference with Wagner, LIU, and Iona. It is academically at a much higher level. I really do not see that mix occurring. Also, with any new conference, the NCAA would not allow the conference into the NCAAT for a few seasons.

To Stuball888, It just might be worth it. Read the NY times article and look at the money differences. The extra revenues are really quite large. It can pay for itself in a few seasons. Also, do not discount the added publicity.
