CAA vs. AAC (American Athletic Conference)

Teams currently in the CAA have 10 NCAA Tournament wins, which is 1 per team. Teams currently in the AAC have 206 NCAA Tournament wins, which is 18.7 per team, and a majority of the AAC schools have more than 10 NCAA Tournament wins. Only half the CAA teams have ever won an NCAA Tournament game. James Madison leads the CAA with 4 NCAA Tournament wins. Connecticut leads the AAC with 4 NCAA Tournament Championships. Despite the much better history for the AAC teams, the CAA is currently better in the Conference RPI.
