In other alum news, TB Lightning head coach (and former Hofstra lacrosse and hockey player) Jon Cooper has gotten a contract extension after leading his team to the Stanley Cup Final last year

Love that he gives back to his alma mater and is close with the Hofstra mlax program. Hopefully he will get to lift the Stanley Cup someday,
