The SWAC Is Off To A Better Start In Men's Basketball

The SWAC is normally the worst conference in the Conference RPI. In the six seasons from 2009-2010 to 2014-2015, the SWAC went 60-553 (.098) out of conference against Division I teams. The SWAC ranged from 7 to 14 wins those seasons. The SWAC is 7-16 (.304) so far in 2015-2016, which is as many out of conference Division I wins as it had in 2011-2012 (7-96) and 2009-2010 (7-87). The SWAC already has had Alabama State win at Virginia Tech and Southern win at Mississippi State.
