Hopefully they can get the LSU game on the schedule that was supposed to be in the 2020-21 season.
Re: Men's Basketball Schedule 2021-2022
I wonder if we'll be scheduling a game @ Memphis anytime soon?

Don't we play Iona in New Rochelle as well.
Re: Men's Basketball Schedule 2021-2022
I think Iona comes back to us again...I vaguely remember that the "Mascot Challenge" was for homecourt for a third "bonus" game, which we won the toss but unfortunately not the game.Mikey77 wrote:Don't we play Iona in New Rochelle as well.

Love the Houston and Maryland games!!
5 away, 2 home (not counting Molloy D2 scrimmage). Hope they can bring a good challenging team to the Mack for a home game.

Love this!! And still 3 to go!
That is a really great slate, and fired up to see Maryland back after a long hiatus! Already hit up the fam for that one - aunt and uncle are Terps, have watched a lot of Maryland hoops - was at the last ones with HU and will plan to be there this time too!
Challenging these guys right from the jump yr 1, I totally dig it - let’s rock!

Big ups to Stu coming through with the schedule details, in a year where info has been very hard to come by
Re: Men's Basketball Schedule 2021-2022
The staff supported this narrative last night that the schedule this year is going to be extremely tough
I can say right now I don’t see a lot of Ws OOC - no clue what we even have as a team, and those opponents, if true, are seasoned top teams - Houston will be picked to win the AAC, Maryland towards the top of the Big10, and Richmond will be one of the most mature (ie old) teams in the NCAA - avg age of like 23 or something nutty lol and all returning guys - hungry for revenge will be an understatement - get ready for them to come to NY to settle a score - HUs upset completely derailed their entire season, not picking an HU win this time
Add in an Iona who will be in yr 2 of Pitino, and whoever else they land to fill the open slots, and this team of a bunch of new transfers with an entirely new staff and first time head coach doesn’t give the impression of pulling off a lot of upsets lol
But we never know! And I will gladly take lumps against exciting big dogs over a bunch of completely boring low level games any day of the week - because eventually this program will establish itself and those opps will turn into program defining wins one step at a time!

Looking at early top 25 predictions for what it's worth Maryland ranked in the top 10 and Houston ranked in the top 20. Also believe it or not St Bonaventure ranked in the top 20(#17) supposedly bringing back all their starters from last year. This should be fun.Polito wrote:The staff supported this narrative last night that the schedule this year is going to be extremely tough

Re: Men's Basketball Schedule 2021-2022
Nice to have you back Evan hope all is well! I know very little about returning teams this year but do know we're a much better team then this shows. I would like the idea of having to play a season without the bullseye on our back though. Our team has super talent and it's just a question of being able to play together. That will probably take time that's what the OOC is for.EvanJ wrote:https://twitter.com/Sctvman/status/1419022680418832386 predicts:
