It has been a while since we have had a full 13 scholarships used up. Joe seems to have this team built for the long haul with players at various years at each position.

I am a little confused as to which of the 2018-19 players are now considered grads, seniors, juniors, sophomores, and freshmen. I do not mean their academic standing, but their basketball year. Also, which players do you think might be red shirting? This way we can try to see each player's eligibility and how it will effect recruiting for 2019-20. With the thirteen scholarships now used for 2018-19, can we all put to rest the idea that 11 or 12 basketball scholarships would only be used as a way to reduce costs.

Since it is a very slow work day, I will try to answer my own question. If any posters see a mistake, please correct the list. Senior: JWF, Taylor, Wormley, and the 13th scholarship, Junior: Buie, Sophomore: Coburn, Radovic, Pemberton, Trueheart, Ray Freshman: Schutte, Hughes, Red Shirt Kante I guess this means there are 4 scholarships open for 2019-20.

I believe Pemberton is a junior, and there is also two caveats here - I am not sure about Buie's extra year of eligibility after his injury, and Taylor may apply for another year of eligibility.

Cactus, That could be great news. I hope #13 turns out to be a player that can give some meaningful minutes

So corrected list is Senior: JWF, Wormley, Taylor ?, #13, Junior: Pemberton, Buie Sophomore: Coburn, Radovic, Trueheart, Ray Freshmen: Schutte, Hughes Red Shirt: Kante So that leaves %5 scholarships for 2019-20.

Stuball888, I went back and corrected the last list. Thanks to all for the input. Now, any news about scheduling besides the Maryland possibility?

Good job. Have no idea about the schedule. It should be released in August is my guess

While it could very well be that the 13th scholarship is a senior it can't be assumed. I don't see where SID SAID THIS WAS A graduate student transfer. It is the likely conclusion however.

Kante is a red shirt sophomore...he will have 3 years of eligibility after he sits this year. I will bet that Hughes red-shirts as well.

Well SID it seems like you're giving us bits and pieces of something you're already privy to. Why not give us a few more hints and we'll figure out who this kid is, Lol??
