New UNCW Logo

UNCW unveiled their new athletics logo before their game against Elon last night.
What's everyone's opinions on it'? I don't like it at all right now, but maybe I'll like it more once I get used to it. I feel like it makes the color combination look even worse than the old logo did.

Agreed. If you are going dark as a contrast you might as well have that second color as black. If you want to keep it in the blue family, I think the North Carolina blue (baby Blue) would look nice against the teal.

The old logo was my favorite in the CAA.

Yeah that was one of the best if on the best logo in the CAA for many years. Switching to something that looks like a 5th-grade art student created it doesn't make much sense.
If someone didn't know the old logo, they'd think the change was the around way around. The old logo looks like the new one and the new one looks like an old one from the 1970s or 1980s.
Sometimes it's simply better to leave well enough alone.
