In our first nine seasons in the CAA, we made fewer free throws than our opponents, and our best differential was -1 in 2005-2006, which was our best regular season by RPI. In the eleven seasons from 2010-2011 through 2020-2021, we made more free throws than our opponent in every season except for when we stunk in 2012-2013, and even then our differential of -30 (-0.9 per game) wasn't that bad. Last season we made 218 more free throws and 3 fewer field goals than our opponents. Our differential is currently exactly +3.5 per game, so it's safe to say we will finish the season with a positive differential. We were +6.4 per game last season and +6.9 per game the previous season. We have committed exactly 2.5 fewer fouls per game than our opponents, and this would be our eleventh consecutive season with fewer fouls than our opponents. I wish I could find out what team has the longest active streak of that.
